Quadruped Creature — Original Character Design

Original creature design inspired by horror games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil 9.
The main goal of this project was to create a disturbing quadruped creature that could fit naturally into a modern horror game universe, while also improving my creature workflow, anatomy knowledge, and texturing skills.
Before starting this project, I spent time studying animal/quadruped anatomy to better understand structure and movement, which helped me achieve a more believable final result. That’s usually part of my workflow as an artist — studying specific subjects first, then applying that knowledge during production.
High poly sculpt created in ZBrush, textured in Substance 3D Painter, and rendered/lookdev done in Marmoset Toolbag.
